The WebAuthn spec itself is not the authoritative registry of extensions, as noted in [ยง9. WebAuthn Extensions](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn-3/#sctn-extensions): >The IANA "WebAuthn Extension Identifiers" registry [[IANA-WebAuthn-Registries]](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn-3/#biblio-iana-webauthn-registries) established by [[RFC8809]](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn-3/#biblio-rfc8809) can be consulted for an up-to-date list of registered [WebAuthn Extensions](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn-3/#webauthn-extensions).
