This has come up before in https://github.com/w3c/webauthn/issues/1739 and https://github.com/w3c/webauthn/issues/1688 The issue is that there is a conflict between "enterprise" who want this level of control, and "browsers" who are looking at the general population of everyday websites. There is resistance to give this kind of filtering because "everyday websites" will probably abuse/misuse it in some way. But enterprise needs it to improve their UX flows when they have tight regulations. So IMO this is a "subset" of https://github.com/w3c/webauthn/issues/1688 -- GitHub Notification of comment by Firstyear Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/webauthn/issues/1816#issuecomment-1278264278 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
