If a new AnonymizationCA concept is introduced, and if there were to ever be an Apple FIDO2 MDS document published (rather than just the trust root CA), it would make sense that the MDS document would be able to contain a legitimate value for the attestationTypes attribute (see https://fidoalliance.org/specs/fido-v2.0-id-20180227/fido-metadata-statement-v2.0-id-20180227.html#idl-def-MetadataStatement).
