emlun has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/webauthn: == Re-focus resident key descriptions on allowCredentials aspect == @agl remarked on the 2019-04-03 WG call that the terminology for resident keys conflates two disctinct aspects: 1. A resident key is stored in the authenticator. 2. A resident key can be used with empty `allowCredentials`. ...and that of the two, (2) is usually the more interesting one from an RP perspective. There was broad agreement on the call that we should reformulate the terminology to focus more on aspect (2) than (1).
