@equalsJeffH I am thinking as I am reading and trying to understand the use case of this PR. I am not clear on that and I don't have a alternative right now. What I meant from "this information" was "transports supported by authenticator" and "to the credential" meaning that this PR does to add "transports" to credential descriptor. I see your point of U2F authenticators but not all in market U2F authenticators also don't put this information in certificates.
