jyasskin has just created a new issue for
https://github.com/w3c/webauthn:

== Eliminate duplicate terminology ==
I see several sets of equivalent terms in the spec. We should pick a
canonical one from each set and eliminate the others:

[Authentication
Assertion](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn/#authentication-assertion)
* [Assertion](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn/#assertion)

[User Verification](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn/#user-verification)
* [Authorization
Gesture](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn/#authorization-gesture)

[Conforming User
Agent](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn/#conforming-user-agent)
* [Client](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn/#client)
* [WebAuthn Client](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn/#webauthn-client)

[Relying Party](https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn/#relying-party)
* RP
