Our next F2F is scheduled during W3C's annual Technical Plenary and Advisory Committee week (TPAC), in September in Lisbon. We aim to be reviewing a Candidate Recommendation draft, for implementations and tests by then! Specifically, Webauthn is slated to meet Tuesday, September 20. Group members are also invited to the plenary day, Wednesday, Sept. 21, and to review the schedule for other items of interest: https://www.w3.org/2016/09/TPAC/schedule.html TPAC requires registration, and fees are lower if payment is completed by 2 September. Thank you, Coralie Mercier Head of W3C Marketing & Communications ------------------------------------------ Registration ------------------------------------------ There is a daily registration fee. The per person, per day fee is: * 90 EUR if registration and payment are completed by 2 September 2016. * 180 EUR otherwise. As in the past, registration is a two-step process: 1) A WBS form for meeting and dietary information https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35125/TPAC2016/ 2) A payment system https://www.w3.org/2016/09/TPAC/tpac_reg (with W3C account) https://www.w3.org/2016/09/TPAC/tpac_guest_reg (without W3C account) For more information about registration fees and the payment system, see: https://www.w3.org/2016/09/TPAC/Overview.html#registration Please note that registration is not complete until payment has been made. ------------------------------------------ Plenary Day 2016 (Unconference) ------------------------------------------ Plenary Day 2016 consists of unconference breakouts for TPAC participants. https://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2016 We invite attendees to suggest breakout sessions via the wiki: https://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2016/SessionIdeas ------------------------------------------ Advisory Committee Meeting / Group Meeting Overlap ------------------------------------------ Group Meetings Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: * 08:30-18:00: Traditional Group face-to-face meetings * 12:00-14:00: Lunch (each group will determine their lunch time) * 15:00-18:00: Unstructured time (for those groups that so choose) Some groups have requested guidance on when to allocate Unstructured time to break into parallel informal discussions within their groups, for more cross-group conversation, or for more hallway conversation. We encourage groups to have these informal discussions overlap the AC meeting to minimize hard conflicts for AC reps, and we encourage all groups to schedule their unstructured time at the same time, thus creating more opportunities for interaction. This year again we have scheduled the AC Meeting towards the end of the day from 15:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. We hope this will minimize the likelihood of conflicts with group meetings. AC Representatives who would also like unstructured time within their Groups have the opportunity to use Monday and Friday and thus avoid conflict with the AC meeting. ------------------------------------------ Remote participation ------------------------------------------ Working/Interest Groups may request telephone access for remote participants. We plan to use MIT's webex system as we have done for the past two AC Meetings. If you plan to attend the Advisory Committee Meeting remotely, please let us know on acregister@w3.org<mailto:acregister@w3.org> as the number of requests may play a role in the level of service we provide. IRC is available for all meetings.
