re today's meeting

unfortunately, I have a conflict this morning  --  i may dialin to the meeting while on the road and mostly lurk, am not sure.

overall it seems to me we're in good shape and I support merging the doc-merge branch into master branch, removing the individual-spec subdirectories, and getting to work on the open 'stat:OkToDo' issues, and folks should start discussing the 'stat:Discuss' ones :)
