FIDO Certified Professional Certification development

Hello WebAuthn supporters!

Last year, the FIDO Alliance undertook the task to develop a Professional
Certification program for individuals interested in showcasing their
expertise and understanding of FIDO Specifications and product development.
A small group of SMEs has worked very hard over the past several months to
finalize the content outline and identify the ideal number of exam
questions. Now we need YOU!

We are looking for additional SMEs to help write the exam questions for the
exam itself. We are looking to deploy a hybrid approach to the development
of the exam questions. We will be working to coordinate a F2F meeting in
the US (if people are willing and able to travel), and remote for those
wishing to participate online (to accommodate the global time zones).

If you are interested in participating in this effort, please reach out to
certification@fidoalliance.org, and if you would like to participate and
can travel for a F2F event in the US, please indicate in your email. The
event will take place over a weekend to accommodate work schedules, and the
remote sessions will be online at a time that works for the global
audience. We are targeting late Summer 2021 for this event.

What to expect? There will be training to learn how to write professional
certification questions, and then you will be asked to participate in the
process of writing exam questions. We look forward to hearing from you and
moving the FIDO Certified Professional Program to fruition!
