ACTIONS 2021-02-08

Here are the notes I took during our call today; next call on the 22nd
(regrets from, Nick to chair)

# WebAuthn.How status update
https://github.com/webauthn-adoption/practical-webauthn

# Conformance test suite
https://github.com/webauthn-adoption/webauthn-conformance
Alex and Matt went through the scenarios and divided up work

# WebAuthn browser support documentation
* [ongoing] ACTION: Dom to suggest a way forward on tracking
platform-specific implementations considerations
* [ongoing] ACTION: Nick to ask John Bradley if he can share his
documented platform-specific authenticators oddities
* [done] ACTION: Dom to work with DavidT on granularity of MDN data
on browser support for WebAuthn
* ACTION: Dom to help seed WebAuthn2 in MDN (BCD + docs)

# MOOC
Progress on legal contract for Yubico's MOOC; 1st half of 1st module
will be brought for review to the CG, and then iterate

# FIDO UX TF
Bill: Alignment from the CG with the TF?
Nick: goal is definitely to align pretty strongly
Bill: how do we ensure that operationally?
Nick: I can't be as actively involved in FIDO - will chat with Andrew
about how we could operationalize
ACTION: Nick to chat with Andrew on FIDO UX/Adoption CG collaboration
Bill: very good progress in the TF, but too few people involved in
particular with an implementation perspective
John: risk with too few participants is less momentum behind the
recommendations
Bill: right, the more uniformity, the better
John: the lack of consistency across FIDO-adopting sites was lamented
Bill: hopefully we can move away from that, esp with large parties
adopting similar patterns
John: there may also be gov pressure in that direction
Nick: I'd be interested in seeing what's new on FIDO's side; large
companies showing the way will definitely have an impact
John: hope that Shane / IBM will have influence in that space
Bill: Visa very active in the TF, plans to align with it
Tim: MS involved too

# Intro
Felix: recently joined the group. Founder & CEO of Hanko , focused on
FIDO, implemented with some large corporations; facing quirks in the process
