I like Wasm concept, but for me, whole that Javascript kludge runs whole thing.

Is there any way to start it directly and if not, when was this feature planned to appear ?

I've heard about WASI and it seems like a good initial step of standardisation, so I expect it will be
continued with second step- standardisation of VM environment in browser and standar way of loading the modules
and starting them form HTML5...

Any news on those fronts ?
