Webassembly Crypto Miner

Hello everyone,

 

As a part of my master thesis I have to do research on the topic WebAssembly
and its security. Therefore, I want to develop a tool (e.g. a Chrome
extension) to detect WebAssembly coin miners when I visit a webpage. That
should be a tool which doesn't only monitor CPU/RAM usage. 

 

Which possibilities do I have for realising that idea? What would be you
suggestions for detecting WebAssembly miners? 

 

I would be really glad, if you could help me for my research.
