Hi WebAssembly CG members, We'll be holding our first WebAssembly Working Group video conference on Friday Sept 15th at 9:00AM Pacific Time. Our Community Group has allowed us to develop WebAssembly in the open, including a wide range of participants, without requiring them to all be W3C members. However, in order to make WebAssembly a proper "W3C Recommendation <https://www.w3.org/standards/faq#std>" (Web Standard), we now need to finalize WebAssembly through a Working Group <https://www.w3.org/Consortium/activities#Working>. For those of you affiliated with a W3C member organization that have not yet joined the Working Group, you can do so here <https://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/101196/join>. This first Working Group meeting will be limited to Working Group members. One of the items on the agenda is to discuss opening future meetings for viewing (particularly to CG members). The agenda is available here: https://github.com/WebAssembly/meetings/blob/master/2017/WG-09-15.md Instructions for attendance will be sent out before the meeting. Notes from the meeting will be publicly available a few days after the meeting. I look forward to collaborating with you all to bring WebAssembly v.1 to the standards process finish line! -BradN
