Dear WebApps WG and Devices and Sensors WG members, Apologies for cross-posting. The Contact Picker API is a joint deliverable between WebApps and DAS. As agreed to during TPAC 2022 [1] during the WebApps meeting, this is a call for consensus (CFC) to publish the Contact Picker API specification as a First Public Working Draft. The CFC ends at midnight on Friday the 30th of September, 2022. You can view the latest Unofficial draft here: https://github.com/w3c/contact-api The abstract reads: > An API to give one-off access to a userβs contact information with full control over the shared data. Using the Github issue link below, please indicate your support for publishing the specification as a W3C First Public Working Draft using either the π or π (formal objection) reaction buttons: https://github.com/w3c/contact-api/issues/49 If you have a Formal Objection (i.e., you indicate π) to its publication, we kindly ask that you raise it before 30th of September, 2022. Kind regards, Marcos Caceres - on behalf of the WebApps WG. [1] https://www.w3.org/2022/09/12-webapps-minutes.html#t04
