Re: [EXTERNAL] Webmanifest Icons

Yep, as I understand it, nobody is opposed to adding SVG support, but it's
*fairly* complex technically, in Chromium, because I believe (going by
memory here) that the manifest is parsed in the Browser process and those
icons are converted to host-OS-compatible formats in the browser, but our
SVG parser is in the Renderer process (the more sandboxed one). Making SVG
work for manifest icons would be an architectural challenge!

But we'd love to see it.
