https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=25818 Bug ID: 25818 Summary: [imports]: The dedup behavior with redirects should be clarified. Product: WebAppsWG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Component Model Assignee: dglazkov@chromium.org Reporter: morrita@google.com QA Contact: public-webapps-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-webapps@w3.org Blocks: 20683 Reported from here: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=373331 The suggestion there is that The dedup should be done based on final, redirected URL. I don't support that idea as the URL given to <link> is what the author want. If the author requests different URLs, they should be loaded separately even if the final URL is same.
