Summary: Explicitly allow UAs to let the user execute commands
without author intervention
Product: WebAppsWG
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: HTML Editing APIs
AssignedTo: ayg@aryeh.name
ReportedBy: ayg@aryeh.name
QAContact: sideshowbarker+html-editing-api@gmail.com
CC: mike@w3.org, public-webapps@w3.org
Reportedly, Safari lets users do bold/italics/underline from the context menu
and by the usual shortcuts. We should note explicitly that they can do this.
It might be a good idea for authors to be able to override this in some
fashion, too.
