Ok following up after chatting with @tabatkins  - https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/14125#issuecomment-5287846070 is a good summary, and https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/14125#issuecomment-5302817194:

- display-mode would no longer be mutually exclusive  (so you can be both fullscreen and standalone). But perhaps we don't match minimal-ui in fullscreen as we won't display the spec-guided navigation buttons.
- we can add a display mode string like "installed" or "application" to make this extra simple for devs.

@kyerebo are you able to roll with this?
