saschanaz left a comment (whatwg/fetch#1592) The original problem here kinda does matter on browsers too in certain cases, e.g. ActivityPub services if the server decides to serve the original URL of images, then it's random images from random sources with random sizes fetched by browser. Some efficient feature available in browser would be nice, something like: ```js img.srcObject = (await fetch(image)).body.pipeTo(new ByteLimiter((1024 ** 2) * 10))); // except img.srcObject is not a thing and existing media.srcObject doesn't allow ReadableStream. // https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/3972 ``` -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/whatwg/fetch/issues/1592#issuecomment-5797838250 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
