Just FYI: I ran into this issue with Ladybird recently, and came to the same conclusion (removing UTF-8 decoding from "write blobs and option to the clipboard") before stumbling upon this issue. The resulting PNG from a `clipboard.write` -> `clipboard.read` cycle was not making sense otherwise :)
