@frederikbosch I don't understand the goals of moving the attribute to the host of the shadow root instead of putting it on the shadow root, which is the actual Node the attribute affects. Then further in your idea you bring in custom elements, which mixes concepts as `adoptedStyleSheets` is a shadow DOM concept, not a custom element concept.
