Yep - fair point! Thanks! For those who want to discuss, [this comment](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/12437#issuecomment-4566966494) links to the three open issues for various parts of this API. The particular bit of the conversation we've been having above (how to opt in/out) belongs in https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/13980.
