Fwiw I used `NodeIterator` somewhat recently to iterate over text nodes, looking for a text match https://github.com/jakearchibald/social-video-editor/blob/04ad8b911b93b2073a7945d01e0114a9761caa3b/app/utils/findText.ts#L19.

I can imagine folks wanting to do the same but also consider matches in shadow roots.

It isn't too hard to write a crawler I guess, but I used `NodeIterator` because it's already there.
