jyasskin left a comment (w3ctag/design-reviews#1134) Thank you for the updates to https://github.com/WICG/declarative-partial-updates/blob/main/patching-explainer.md#contentmethod-attribute. We'd still like to see this do more to discuss specific examples of where the `contentmethod` is insufficient besides just the `<title>` patching case. The inability of `contentmethod` to replace arbitrary ranges is clear but it'd be great to elaborate on the kind of real-world scenarios where that capability is needed. That said, we take the point that you're making this change based on feedback from developer/framework early adopters. It seems the right conversations have been happening and the change in approach is necessary to fulfill developer use cases. So we're happy to re-resolve this as still `Satisfied`. Thanks for giving us a chance to consider the updated design. Also thanks to @dandclark for drafting this reply. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/w3ctag/design-reviews/issues/1134#issuecomment-4240444103 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
