yoshisatoyanagisawa left a comment (w3c/ServiceWorker#1799) Thank you for the detailed report, and thanks to @wanderview and @mkruisselbrink for providing the helpful context. As already pointed out, this is indeed the expected behavior. Requests from `<object>` elements are intentionally not intercepted by Service Workers. The underlying challenge, which is discussed in detail in issue #249, is that these elements can dynamically create a new browsing context depending on the response they receive. Handling this ambiguity is very complex. Given that this is a known limitation and the core issue is tracked in #249, I will be closing this issue as "not planned".
