You are correct that the current behavior of client.url is non-intuitive, and I agree that the MDN documentation can be misleading on this point. Since MDN's content is managed on GitHub, perhaps you would consider opening a pull request to add a note about this? Contributions from developers like you who have experienced these issues firsthand are incredibly valuable. We also hear your support for a `client.currentURL` property. While this feedback is valuable input for the discussion, I want to be transparent that spec work and implementation can take time. There are some other priorities, and a quick resolution is not something I can promise.
