I can see that it confused you so I removed user info from my issue. I only added a full example since that's how URLs already work. Removed for clarity. I was simply trying to demonstrate what a URI/URL looks like in full but it wasn't needed. 

And these comments are unrelated to my actual issue. Go ahead and start an issue about removing user info from the URL authority and see how far it goes.
