I understand we have to options to fix:
1. adjust the output directory as written in https://w3c.github.io/spec-prod/#change-output-location-for-built-files
2. change the gh page location upon https://docs.github.com/pages/getting-started-with-github-pages/configuring-a-publishing-source-for-your-github-pages-site

I guess the template default location is something people usually use.  Considering the ease of future update, let me choose Option 2.
