That's good feedback.  I do think that a form is better UX in a general sense.  But you are right to note that it isn't something you can easily preview.

It might be useful to be able to save the output of the template (which is going to end up as markdown anyway).  Or at least preview it.  But that's a GitHub problem more than a TAG problem.  As long as we have the blank markdown available, it's a good way to handle any exceptional cases.
