ocdtrekkie left a comment (whatwg/dom#1400) I do not understand how it moved from a discussion where there is almost no positive support to two implementation PRs. It seems like everyone is welcome to contribute allegedly as long as nobody suggests a change Google wants just shouldn't happen. (Even if there is some process normality to this, the optics of this process looks terrible from the outside.) Can the WHATWG core membership agree that there should be a mandatory public comment period and some need for positive support before attempting to delete web features? The web should be hard to break.
