I kinda like this idea, but how would we enforce it? We'd need to syntactically distinguish the intentional tri-state booleans somehow.

(https://dom.spec.whatwg.org/#dictdef-mutationobserverinit is also a valid use of tri-state booleans, in my opinion.)
