If we stopped relying on `query()` (which I still think is often harmful), when a site actually tried to use a camera or geolocation permission and the browser allowed it but the OS didn't, that might be a time that the browser could remind the user of their inconsistent state and explain the problem 'you wanted to use your camera with this site, but the browser doesn't have permission to use the camera'. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/w3c/permissions/issues/332#issuecomment-2377510330 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
