As [the person who said this](https://github.com/WICG/webcomponents/issues/909#issuecomment-1984766597), please let me reemphasize the word *combinators* and [the previous elaboration](https://github.com/WICG/webcomponents/issues/909#issuecomment-1977302028)  that to me `.foo .bar` inside a shadow tree does matter.
