@mayank99 Whoa, that last example is making my brain explode (in a good way!). I never considered the idea you could have multiple shadow roots inside your shadow root where some are still privately-styled and some aren't. Ooooo 😁

@mirisuzanne I do understand the systems thinking and "headless" components idea (weird name but that's what a lot of folks call it), but anecdotally I *enjoy* writing encapsulated components where HTML/CSS/JS is all scoped and that's how my brain works for all but the simplest of page layouts. Hopefully there's a way to find an open-stylable solution which can accommodate composition in both directions.
