Re: [WICG/webcomponents] "open-stylable" Shadow Roots (#909)

I want to add that as someone who's worked with shadow Dom and web components this is the biggest missing feature that stops me using them as my goto. We need a way to have the ergonomics of slots but without "full" style encapsulation. The status quo makes it untenable to use web components with a variety of styling mechanisms (e.g. Tailwind).
