From there, it's up to each individual browser vendor to implement this change as they see fit. You can star the [Chromium issue](https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=929585) and/or vote on the [Firefox bug](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1734244) in order to let them know that you're interested in this feature.
