@benbucksch The reason why we don't support HTTP/1.1 is not engineering resource, but a security concern. See [this comment](https://github.com/whatwg/fetch/issues/966#issuecomment-554985629) for example. If you want to allow HTTP/1.1, that's great, I'll ask you to drive the discussion at #966.
