When authoring a CE for others to embed, to leverage other CEs in otherwise-internal aspects of its implementation has meant spraying them into the embedder’s global registry. Given this thread is very long (there’s a “load 101 more comments” link in the middle of it...), I’m sure other folks have described this same use case before, but I was surprised to get the sense that the “needs inheritance” use cases might be the more common one.
