@marcoscaceres - No worries, and thank you for your patience with this.

I appreciate that somebody needs to concretely demonstrate the shortcomings of the current API, before anyone can hope to address them pragmatically. And I can't really do that. I can point to games like Street Fighter and Rock Band, which require frame-perfect inputs, but that may be addressable with timestamps, which comes back to your point about needing to nail down the problem before proposing a solution.

To be honest, I took it for granted that the need for gamepads in workers was obvious, and felt like you just weren't getting it. I appreciate now that it's just not that simple. Sorry for that. It was arrogant of me.
