Re: [whatwg/xhr] Why do we need to remove synchronous XHR? (Issue #336)

Oh I didn't see that dup. What bothers me is that this conversation was
locked and this comes off as silencing me without any rationale. I
challenged the assumption that was just given as reason for closing, so
restating the same assumption without rebuttal or allowing conversation in
the thread seems inappropriate.
