Re: [w3ctag/design-reviews] Canvas 2D color management (#646)

Hi @ccameron-chromium,

We reviewed this proposal this week and overall we are happy with the direction. We were initially troubled by some of the design decisions, but after [discussing](https://github.com/w3ctag/meetings/blob/gh-pages/2021/telcons/06-21-agenda.md) them further, we came to the same conclusions. 

Therefore, we are going to close this issue. We are looking forward to seeing this feature evolve further.
