By the way. The way that HTTP works is that the server needs to know the name of the client FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE CLIENT so that it's a mistake to ever strip the zone identifier before sending it from the client. This was already worked out by Firefox and Mozilla devs -- they did it that way for 'localhost' for example.
