Re: [w3c/editing] Updated the intro material to better reflect the current status. (#302)

I'm not going to do anything further until the pull request I have
already submitted is resolved.
Adding to the queue of material that you regard as "controversial" does
not seem useful.

Does anyone else who has read it think it is controversial?
