Just to further clarify, we are indeed working with the WebRTC WG to discuss and build consensus on the right API. Mozilla's proposed API fails to cover the majority of [use-cases Capture Handle tackles](https://github.com/WICG/capture-handle/blob/main/README.md#problem-description), and has some important [deficiencies](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1PshlYthmCBg31iuyw2TlX6VyyPD2jV1wj3-K8GZRsbw/edit#slide=id.ge1046c73a6_16_27) even when the use-cases do overlap. We are therefore proceeding with the origin trial, which has garnered interest from multiple sources ([[1]](https://discourse.wicg.io/t/proposal-capture-handle-bootstrap-app-collaboration-when-screensharing/5354/), [[2]](https://github.com/eladalon1983/capture-handle/issues/1)). The communication lines with Mozilla are open, though, and I'm happy to keep discussing. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
