I thought of a use case for Chromium browsers that makes manifest_url difficult - "Create Shortcut..." apps. These currently create a fake manifest if there is none, and then will 'upgrade' to a real manifest if one is ever linked. Unless I'm missing something easy here, these would have to be handled specially if we end up going with the `manifest_url` approach. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
