Well, in this case I see no other choice than switching to React. I invested a lot in using Polymer back when the compatibility was broken with every release, leading to major rewrites and a lot of frustration. But I still continued with Polymer and then with Lit, despite this. I really like the speed and elegance of the API, but not being able to use the tools that most people use to be productive design-wise would be a deal-breaker to me.
