Again, my mistake, Firefox does decode it as U+005C (seen in developer mode) but renders it as U+00A5; if I force an Arial font family I do get U+005C. This is quite confusing for me, my apologies. My objective is to be able to parse HTML body of e-mails, which so commonly violates norms in every possible way ; I'm wondering which policy I should do adopts here ? @annevk >Is there a reason you are not using web-platform-tests?
