ok, removed `onappinstalled` from Gecko. The issue that @dominickng points to remains - so we will have to see how that plays out longterm. It may go away on its own, similarly to how websites used to ask every user to "bookmark this site!" back in the 90's and 2000s... as users become more savvy with using browsers, nagging users to bookmark stuff went away.
