@scottfr Is this extension available to be looked at? I am not sure if it's really desired that extensions just randomly paste content into richtext editors. Putting things on the clipboard - sure. But to just paste something without the user interacting, sounds slightly questionable. Is this just breaking the Trix editor or is it breaking 99% of all websites using contenteditable? Is there a way for the editor to reserve itself against your plugin pasting stuff into it or is that just not possible? How do you determine that it's a good idea to paste content into a given editable element without user interaction? If it's breaking most websites, then that may not be the best approach.
