@mkay581 with scoped css you need a library that will do that for you, not mentioning that that's an additional bundle size and library might be outdated, author might abandon the project and things like that. Plus, you cannot enhance those slotted elements with additional behaviour only with CSS. Form validation, additional custom handlers etc. require JS.
